What was your first job?  

I started early, with a Saturday job at 11 years old in a local butchers.
 
What attracted you to your current job?
Ever since that first Saturday job I knew that was what I wanted to do. Eric (my old boss) would take me round the local farmers on the Saturday morning looking at cattle to buy for the shop the following week.
 
How would you define sales and marketing? 
I would say sales is about identifying a need and then providing a product to meet the need as well as you can with the best customer care possible and to offer a guarantee. Great companies are built on selling customers what they want, even if they don’t know it yet!
Marketing is all about making your company known to potential clients who have not heard of you.
 
What marketing trend is dominating your job at the moment?
To try and get a union jack on as many products as we can!
 
If you had three wishes, what would they be? 
Easy…  health, wealth and happiness for me and my family. 
 
What’s your greatest ambition?
I’d like to own a chain of shops and a small farm. It’s been the same one since I was 11 years old.
