Souter appoints Account Director
24 January 2012
We are delighted to report the arrival of experienced PR consultant Kirsty Hall, who joins Souters in a senior role looking after a varied portfolio of business.
The experienced consultant will be looking after trade and corporate relations for Johnson Health Tech, one of the UK’s leading fitness equipment manufacturers and handling a national consumer campaign brief on AEDS.
Both are US-based global organisations investing in UK PR provision for the first time.
Kirsty will also be heading up the editorial team on the award-winning W magazine for Warburtons and leading the press office for worldwide engineering consultancy AV Technology.
Kirsty commented: “Joining Souters has already given me the opportunity to lead the PR contribution in some significant organisations and just three weeks in there is enough variety and challenge to keep me well occupied.
“The culture here is high quality and can do. I am looking forward to establishing myself, delivering the campaigns and helping Sue grow the company.”
Sue Souter, MD, said. “Kirsty is our kind of girl – hugely talented, friendly and hard-working. She has already started to make her mark. I am looking forward to working with her.”
Kirsty, 29, started her career at Green Communications in Yorkshire, then spent six years at Citypress where she looked after accounts for a wide variety of clients including McArthurGlen Designer Outlets, Admiral Taverns, Princes Food & Drink Group and AstraZeneca. She brings specialist expertise in trade and consumer media relations, internal communications and issues management.
The appointment takes the Souter team to seven.
The consultancy has also welcomed back Account Director Emma Beardsley who returns from maternity leave.
