Souters win awareness week brief

24 March 2011

Souters has been appointed by healthcare giant Ossur to deliver Plagiocephaly Awareness Week in May this year. The campaign is driving journalist awareness and media coverage of the condition in babies – also known as flat head syndrome.

Ossur have a treatment programme available with 100% success rate. Account Director Kate Pearson said: “The week is aimed at raising awareness of the condition among new mums and how to spot it, and tackling the issue of treatment not currently available on the NHS. Orthotist and Clinic Development Manager, Steve Mottram, added: “We routinely put braces on kids teeth to straighten them on the NHS, but we won’t consider a similar treatment approach to flat head syndrome – this week will help us keep the debate alive.”
