Our Team
Even though we say it ourselves, we’re a pretty great bunch. We’re fun (but not fluffy) creative (but not crackers) and above all we’re committed to success - our clients and our own.
The team has particular expertise in the food and drink sector, professional services including legal and financial, B2B & healthcare.
Here’s a bit about us (in our own words):

Sue Souter Director
Me in three words:
Upbeat, determined, imaginative
Career highlight:
Passing the 10 year milestone with Souter PR and still loving the day-to-day challenge of driving positive coverage for clients.. the buzz has never dimmed!
Favourite publication/journalist:
Bryony Gordon, feature writer and columnist, ‘takes a street-smart view of the irritations and absurdities of modern life’. Avid follower of How the Other Half Lives column in Sunday Telegraph magazine.
Secret passion:
Footie - and not just Old Trafford – I’ll watch anything….and TV sitcom Friends, its comic writing has never been surpassed…always makes me LOL

Kirsty Hall Account Director
Me in three words:
Talkative, excitable, hard-working
Career highlight:
Launching the UK’s first Ekso Centre and Ekso Store. They achieved fantastic coverage but, more importantly for me, both events were incredibly moving and I got to meet some really inspiring people.
Favourite publication/journalist:
Steph McGovern from BBC Breakfast. She makes business news, which can be quite dull and involved, really interesting and engaging.
Secret passion:
Formula 1. My dad is an avid fan and his love for it has rubbed off on me.

Becki Wiper Junior Account Manager
Me in three words:
Bubbly, creative, honest
Career highlight:
Getting two international acts on separate 'This Morning' programmes twice in one year and on those occasions meeting some exciting celebs in the Green Room whilst eating some very tasty ITV breakfast.
Favourite publication/journalist:
I can’t go a day without logging on to either my app or PC to read the Mail Online. Especially the TV & Showbiz section. If anybody needs that subject area covered in a quiz I’m your gal.
Secret passion:
Interior Design. I have recently decorated our new house from top to bottom and loved it! Sometimes I do think I am the new Linda Barker.

Alex Latham PR Consultant, Souter PR Newcastle
Me in three words:
Enthusiastic, ambitious, creative
Career highlight:
Working on the UK launch of Ekso Bionics in 2011, which achieved impressive media coverage, including Daybreak and Sky News.
Favourite publication/journalist:
Mail Online – I just find it an entertaining read, and the content is updated much more frequently than on similar sites.
Secret passion:
Hotels. Give me the name of any hotel and I will probably know everything about it! I also have my own hotel blog.

Roger Souter Director
Me in three words:
Practical, objective, creative
Career highlight:
The 10th anniversary of our business, especially in view of the economic climate since 2008.
Favourite publication/journalist:
Time magazine. It can be a little too American at times, but within half an hour I feel as though I know what the key issues are around the world.
Secret passion:
I love general knowledge quizzes, although the secret to winning them is to recruit a very strange mix on your team: An old lady who can remember everything from the last century, a scientific boffin, a spotty youth who knows current music, and me. My mind is full of the most useless trivia…

Chidi Onuoha Junior Account Executive
Me in three words:
Tenacious, creative, honest
Career highlight:
I’m just starting my career in PR, but one of the proudest moments I’ve had so far was getting my work published in the Manchester Evening News. I had to interview QPR player Shaun Wright–Phillips before the Manchester and West London derbies - he predicted City and QPR wins. They both did, and as a big City fan it was a fantastic weekend for me!
Favourite publication/journalist:
Mail Online. It’s easy to read and always entertaining and informative.
Secret passion:
My not-so-secret passion is watching American television, especially The Real Housewives - the cast are unintentionally hilarious!
